RRGSD board to consider multi-year school resource officer agreement

The Roanoke Rapids Graded School District Board of Trustees will meet in special session Wednesday to consider a multi-year agreement for school resource officer services.

The meeting is scheduled for 3 p.m. Aug. 26 at 536 Hamilton Street, Building B, in Roanoke Rapids.

According to the district, the purpose of the special session is to review and approve a multi-year School Resource Officer Agreement with the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office.

No other business is scheduled to be conducted during the meeting.
